Most Wonderful Time Aperture Christmas Card

Good evening,

I hope you have all had a great Monday.

Today I have a card I made for the Perpetual Christmas Card Club on Facebook. This week's theme is Aperture Cards, so I decided to dig into the Most Wonderful Time Medley to make my entry.

This medley is brilliant you get a selection of items which all coordinate to make a whole host of Christmas cards.

Take a piece of real red that measures 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" scored at 4 1/8". Stamp the present trio across the card front in real red ink, then the bows and ribbons in second generation. This means to stamp off onto a piece of scrap first before adding to you card, giving a slightly lighter shade of the same colour.

Lay the cardstock flat and placethe second largest oval from the stitched shapes dies in the centre, slightly towards the top and run theough your die cutting machine.

Then on a scrap piece of old olive arrange the second largest and third largest oval dies together. Make sure you have an even spacing all the way round, then add a bit of masking or washi tape to secure and run theough the die cutting machine, as below. This will then give you a thin frame.

Add snail the the frame then adhere around the aperture you created on the card front.

Pop a whisper white panel that measures 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" to the inside.

Close the card up and adhere one of the christmas tree stickers from the medley to the centre. Add a star embellishment to the top, and add tinsel trim to the tree. I cut some small lengths and added with rolled up glue dots.

Finally stamp the sentiment in memento ink onto one of the banner stickers and add to the lower section of the card front.

Here's a list of all the supplies I used in today's card, click on the images to head over to my online store, where you can find out everything that comes in the product medley and you can also purchase....

Thanks for joining me today, I hope you liked the card. If you get a chance, pop on over to The Perpetual Christmas Card Club on Facebook and check out the great community over there. It would be great to see you!

See you soon
