Floral Essence Emboss Resist Greeting Card

Good Morning Everyone,

Whooppee, It's Saturday. I love the weekend even more now because it means we get to spend some time together as a family. We haven't decided what we are doing, but it does look like it might be a nice day, so who knows.

Before we go, I wanted to share this lovley card with you.

Take a piece of basic black cardstock that measures 4 1/8" x 11 3/4" scored and folded at 5 7/8" to create a card base. Cut two panels of whisper white that measure 5 5/8" x 3 7/8". Add one of these to the inside of the card.

Rub your embossing buddy over the second panel, then ink up the flower image in versamark and cover the whole piece. Then sprinkle with clear embossing powder amd gently tap off the excess. Set thw powder witb a heat tool. Making sure to keep the tool moving so you dont burn the powder or the paper. You will know onceit is done, when the powder has transformed to a glossy smooth finish.

Once this has cooled, bring in your inks and sponges. Here's where we create the coloured background. In small circular motions, cover approx 1/4 of the card stock with blueberry bushel ink, then Old olive, so saffron then finally petal pink. Make sure yiu blend well where the colours meet, you want a smooth transition, not a solid line.

Add this panel to the front of the card, then pop on a simple sentiment.

Here's a list of all the supplies I used in today's card, click on the images to head over to my online store

Thanks so much for joining me today, I hope to see you all very soon.
