The temperature is starting to drop this week and I'm not happy - I don't like the cold. But hey ho, can't do anything about it - except wrap up super warm when I venture out.
Today's card is another challenge card, this time for The Perpetual Christmas Card Club over on Facebook. This group is brilliant, and the whole idea is to get you ahead and on top f your Christmas card, by having a challenge each week, you are encouraged to make a card and join in, then towards the end of the year you will have a good pile of Christmas Cards already to go... GENIUS.
This week's challenge is to use scraps, and this is my card.....

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 2" x 1"
** Please note that these measurements are just because they fit the card front and were straight from my scrap bin - you can change these up to utilise the pieces of scraps you have **
Create the card base by folding and burnishing the soft suede and add the large whisper white panel to the inside. Glue down the three DSP strips. I used snail, but you could use liquid glue, which would give you a little time to straighten out your strips if you are not 100% sure that you would get them lined up first time.
Stamp the sentiment in real red ink onto the whisper white, then layer this onto the real red and then the shaded spruce. Add this to the front of the card and you have finished.
This idea of using scraps is a brilliant was to get a lot of interest onto your card without using too many supplies and using up those smaller pieces you have laying around.
Here's a list of all the supplies I used today, click on the images to head over to my online store...
