Cake Soiree Gingham Birthday Card

Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all planning no doing some fun stuff this weekend?

Me and Dave will be decorating and buy a new carpet... so not up there with the most exciting activities ever, but I suppose it's got to be done. Dave is playing golf tomorrow so I'm hoping to get a cheeky hour or so in the craft room then, but for today I will show you my bright birthday card using up some old and new Stampin Up Items. The Gingham Gala is in the new spring summer catalogue - and boy does it shout spring time....

Measurements:-

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 2 7/8" x 3 3/4"

Highland Heather Cardstock
1pc - 3" x 3 3/8"

Daffodil Delight Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper.
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Create your card base but folding the daffodil delight cardstock along to score line and burnish. Add the large whisper white piece to the inside of the card, and the gingham piece to the front.

Stamp the cake image  & the birthday sentiment onto the smaller piece of whisper white. Once the ink has dried colour in with your watercolour pencils and use the blender pens to smooth out to colour and get rid of any harsh pencil lines.

Add the highland heather onto the card base offset, then place the stamped image piece on top of that offset in the other direction.

Here's a list of all the supplies I used today, click on the images to head over to my online store....

Thanks for joining me today. If you NEED a Spring Summer Catalogue or even an Annual one, get in touch - I would be happy to pop one in the post to you for FREE.

See you Soon
