It's Friday!!! YEY!! I have a bright and bold card for you today, which again is for a challenge over on Stampin for All. It's the Wednesday Colour Challenge and I love the colour combo today.
Here's the card I created this these colours:-
Gorgeous Grape Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
Coastal Cabana Cardstock
2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
Melon Mambo Cardstock
2pc - 5 1/4" x 3 1/2"
Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5" x 3 1/4"
Create your card base from the Gorgeous grape, then add 1pc of coastal cabana, 1pc of Melon Mambo and the piece of Whisper white to the inside of the card.
On a scrap of Whisper white stamp the oval sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink. Bring in the big shot and run this through using the second largest oval from the stitched shapes framelits. Take the largest one and create a coastal cabana oval.
Place the remaining melon mambo piece in the tufted embossing folder and run through the big shot. Remember that this is a dynamics folder so thicker than the standard embossing folder so you will need to adjust your sandwich to make sure it goes through properly. Instead of having both cutting plates either side of the folder, you only need one cutting plate on the top.
Layer up the last piece of coastal cabana cardstock and the embossed melon mambo. Add a line of the mini striped ribbon along to top and the bottom. Secure the loose ends with a little snail on the reverse.
Add this panel to the front of the card, then layer up the ovals and centralise in the space between the ribbon strips.
