Perfectly Penciled Colour Burst Thank You Card.

 Good Afternoon Everyone

Today I have a simple technique to share with you, but it gives absolutely stunning results. The Colour Burst Technique requires minimal supplies and effort.

I have used the Perfectly Penciled DSP which has beautiful black and white designs, just perfect for this technique.

Measurements

Basic Black Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4"

2pc - 1/4" strips

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

1pc - scrap

-----------------------------------------

Take the Basic Black Card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the Basic White piece to the inside.

Using a pencil and a ruler, draw two lines starting towards the top and making the section in between the lines widen toward the right hand side.

Add Masking paper or post in notes along the pencil line leaving the centre panel visable.

Now, take a selection of Stampin Blends (or any other colouring medium up would prefer) and colour in the images inside the post it notes.

Once it's all coloured in, remove the Post it Notes and you should be left with something like this

Take the two thin strips of basic black card stock and adhere them down on either side of your colouring. This helps neaten up the lines and cover up any colour bleeding and it also frames your work.

Trim any over hanging edges and then place this panel onto the card front,

Stamp the sentiment from Simply Fabulous stamp set in Memento onto a scrap of basic white trim and then add to your card.

Here's a list of supplies I used in today's project, click on the images to head over to my online store Product List
