Hues of Happiness Chocolate Gift Box for a Friend.

 Good Afternoon Everyone

Today's project is such a cute little gift box - specifically designed to hold three of these Kinder chocolates, but measuring 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 1/2" - you could fit a lot of other things in.

The Hues of Happiness DSP is so pretty and this design meant that my decoration could be minimal so that you can appreciate more of the gorgeous print.

Measurements

Pool Part Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/4" x 6 1/4"

Hues of Happiness DSP

1pc - 3 3/8 x 2 3/8"

2pc - 3 3/8" x 3/8"

2pc - 2 3/8" x 3 /8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - scrap

-----------------------------------------

Firstly, take the sentiment and stamp it in Night of Navy ink onto a scrap of basic white. Once dry fussy cut and pop to one side for later.

Take the Pool Party card stock and score as follows:-

Long Side - 1/2", 3" 3 1/2" & 6"

Short Side - 1/2" & 3 3/4"

Fold and burnish all the score lines, then holding holding the card horizontally cut up the score lines along the bottom and notch very slightly into the squares to make some tabs - repeat this along the top too. You should then have a piece of card that looks like this.

Now, add your DSP to the card. Take the larger piece and add to left large left hand section, placing all the thinner strips around it. This will be your lid, do bear in mind how you stick the paper down if is directional like mine is. (see below)

Bring in the sentiment and add to the DSP - again being mindful of direction and how it will sit once the box is built. You should have a piece of card that now resembles this

Add Seal+ to all the tabs, then looking at my picture above - fold the 'B' tabs to create the Base, and the 'A' Tabs to create the lid.

I hope you enjoyed my project today, it's quick and simple & very frugal with supplies - 2 bases from one sheet of A4 plus scraps of DSP - what's not to love! haha

Here's a list of supplies I used in today's project, click on the images to head over to my online store Product List
