Good Morning Everyone
Today I have made a card with the beautiful You're a Peach Suite. Our upline set us a challenge this week to create a project with a food related theme - whether it be a food related stamp set/DSP or using colours with food in there names. I didn't have to think too hard and went straight to this suite. I absolutely love it, and if I'm honest has been a little neglected a bit recently!
I kept it simple and used layer of DSP and a die cut branch of Peaches with the fabulous sentiment to finish it off.
Measurements
Pale Papaya Card Stock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
1pc - 2 3/8" x 3 7/8"
Basic White Card Stock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
scraps
You're A Peach DSP
1pc - 4" x 5 3/4"
1pc - 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"
----------------------------------
Take you Pale Papaya card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the basic white piece to the inside and the larger piece of DSP to the card front.
Stamp the sentiment in calypso coral ink towards the bottom of the piece. Layer this to the remaining Pale Papaya and add to the centre of the card front.
On some scraps of basic white, stamp the branch/leaf image in Pear Pizzazz and cut out using the coordinating die in your Cut & Emboss Machine.
Ink up the cluster of three peaches in Pale Papaya, then very light with a dauber add a little Calypso coral ink to the edges of each peach. This just helps to add a little bit more depth to the image and I suppose make then look a little more realistic. Cut these out with the dies.
Now just add this to your card front, position the Branch/Leaf die cut image first with mini dimensionals and then if you look closely you will see where to 'slot' in the peaches.
