Good Morning Everyone
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
It's Monday, so that means there's a brand new Colour Combo over on Creative Colour Challenges. This weeks colours are all Brown tones, so a perfect combo to create a Monotone maybe even vintage inspired projects. There's so many possibilities with this one!
I decided on creating some more 3x3" note cards. I Love this amazingly detailed image from the Henna Hearts stamp set, and here I've shown it two ways, simply stamped, and then stepped uo by colouring the inage with my blends. Both cards are very easy to create.
Measurements
Soft Suede Card Stock
2pc - 3" x 6", scored at 3"
Very Vanilla Card Stock
2pc - 2 7/8" x 2 7/8"
Scraps
-------------------------------------------
Take the Soft Suede and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the Very Vanilla pidce to the inside.
Ink up the detailed image in Early Espresso ink and stamp into very Vanilla card stock. Add the Hello stamp from Inspired Thoughts to the centre of the heart. Do this twice.
Take one of the hearts and trim the card to the width of the image and 3" high. Then simply glue onto the card front.
For the slightly stepped up version, take the second piece and colour in the details with Soft Suede and Crumb Cake Stampin Blends. Trim this piece close to the image, then layer to a piece of Early Espresso Cardstock which is a fraction bigger, just to give a slight border, then add to another card front.
I hope you have enjoyed these cards today, head on over to my Creative Colour Challenges Blog for more information on the challenge, and maybe even enter a project your self.
