Snowman Seasons Peaceful Place Fancy Soap Gift Box & Matching Notecard. Share it on a Sunday.

 Good Morning Everyone,

It's Sunday and that means we have a fabulous Share it on a Sunday project to share with you. This week we are making Gift Boxes.

I was given a nice fancy soap in a gift set last year. I loved it so much Ive continued to buy it and thought I'd get a few more and gift them this year for Christmas. So, I Set about making a gofr box and realised that I could get a gift box and a 3x3" card from one piece of A4, and all the DSP from a piece of 6x12".

The final measurements of the box are 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 1" so you can fit a jumbo tea light in or some other goodies!

Measurements

Pool Party Card Stock

1pc - 8" x 4 1/2"

1pc - 3" x 6"

Peaceful Place DSP

1pc - 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"

4pc - 2 3/4" x 7/8"

1pc - 2 7/8" x 2 7/8"

Basic White card Stock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 2 7/8"

Scraps

Early Espresso Cardstock

Scraps

Take the 3x 6" piece of pool party card stock and score at 3", fold and create your card base. Add the basic white to the inside and the 2 7/8" x 2 7/8" of DSP to the front. Pop this to one side for later.

Place the other piece of pool party into your simply scored and score as follows:-

Long side - 1", 3 1/2", 4 1/2" &7"

Short side - 1", & 3 1/2"

Fold and burnish all your score lines then, holding the piece horizontally, create tabs by cutting up all the score lies and notching into the squares ever so slightly.

Add the DSP to one side of the cardstock like this.

Now, add seal+ to all the tabs. Fold the A tabs over to create the base and the B takes will create the lids - see above.

On scraps of basic white, stamp 2 snowmen, two hats and cut out with the snowman builder punch. Also cut out two sets of arms in early espresso Cardstock.

Colour in the hat and the snowmans nose. Glue the arms onto the back of each and add the hats. Place one snowman onto the card front and one into the lid of the box.

Finally wrap some white twine around the box just to pull in those loose sides and tie a bow.
