Good Morning Everyone,
Welcome to another project post - this time I'm hopping along with the Stamp n Hop ladies and we are Colouring this month.
I was watching Natasha Foote on YouTube, who is an amazing paper crafter who has been inspiring me for years! A video came up and when I saw the project I knew I needed to try it. She took a large outline image and stamped it onto a mat layer, then divided the card into a four panel grid, colouring in the Positive and Negative areas in opposite panels. It looked fabulous. I had a hunt around to see how I could create something similar, but I couldn't find a large stamp, so I opted for the Beautifully Penned DSP instead, and although it already has a gray background - I think it works really well.

-----------------------------------
Take the Flirty Flamingo card stock along the score line to create the card base. Add the piece of basic white to the inside.
With a pencil and a ruler, draw a line half way along the short side, and half way along the long side. This will have split your DSP into four even panels.
Mask off the top left panel - I just used long post it notes, but use what you have. Now colour in the leaves and flowers with your blends.
Repeat this process with the bottom left hand panel - so you will have two panels coloured and two not.
Rub out any pencil lines and then add this piece to the card front.
On a scrap of basic white stamp the sentiment from Shaded Summer in shaded spruce ink and cut out using the tailored tag punch. also cut a shape in shaded spruce card and one in flirty flamingo . Add these to the back of the white tag, so that you have the shaded spruce showing at the left and the flirty flamingo to the right.
Place this piece into the centre of the card, to cover over the section where all the four panels meet and stick down with dimensionals.
I hope you enjoyed today's card. Please click the next button below and continue through the Hop. Cheryl is up next and you will not be disappointed
