Harvest Meadow Dragonfly Thank You Card

 Good Morning Everyone,

Today I have a very pretty thank you card. I've used the very pretty Harvest Meadow DSP and the Dragonfly Garden bundle. Layering up the Dragonfly woth the gorgeous paper helps create a great 3d effect.

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Harvest Meadow Card Stock

1pc - 4" x 2 1/4"

1pc - 1/2" x 3 7/8"

Bumblebee Card Stock

Scraps

----------------------------

Take the soft Succulent card stock and fold along the score line.  Add the thin strip of DSP to the bottom of the basic white piece and add this inside the card.

On the larger piece of DSP stamp the cluster in the opposite corners. Wrap around three lengths of soft Succulent ribbon around the front and stick to then back. Pop this panel into the card front.

Layer up the DSP and Calypso Coral and add to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment in Misty Moonlight onto a scrap of white and cut out using the tailored tag punch. Also cut two shapes in Bumblebee card and then add these behind the sentiment. Add this to the card towards the bottom right of the card with dimensionals.

Finally stamp the Dragonfly in Calypso Coral ink and cut out with the Dragonfly Punch, also cut two more in different DSP. Layer these three together adding adhesive just to the body of the Dragonfly, add this to the card towards the top, again adding adhesive to only the body section. Once the glue dried, gently tease up the wings to give a 3D effect.

Batik Boutique Thank You Card. Quick, Easy & Simple

 Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you are having a fantastic week so far?

Today I've taken a really simple approach to my card. I absolutely love the detailing and overall look of this flourish from the Batik Boutique stamp set, so I decided to really let it stand alone and be the focus.

Measurements

Polished Pink Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Night of Navy Card Stock

1pc - 5" x 3 1/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 4 7/8 x 3"

----------------------------------------

Take your piece of Polished Pink Card and fold along the score line to create a card base.

On the larger piece of basic white, stamp the small element in night of navy in the bottom right hand corner and add this panel to the inside.

Ink up the detailed stamp in Night of Navy and add two to the smaller piece of basic white leaving enough space in the centre of them to add a sentiment. Then take the outine image and stamp that around the two detailed images in balmy blue. I just did it by eye, but you could use your Stamparatus to make sure it line up perfectly.

Layer that piece to the night of navy, then place into the centre of the card front.

Finally on a scrap of basic white stamp the sentiment from Ornate Thanks in night of navy, trim and add to the care, in between the teo stamped image on dimensionals. I like the way having the sentiment raised gives subtle interest, but you could easily stamp it striaght onto the card that you have your other images stamped on.

Beautifully Penned Happy Birthday Gift Bags. Creative Colour Challenges #CC4

 Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Monday. Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. There's a New colour challenge over on https://creativecolourchallenges.blogspot.com/ so I wanted to share what I have  made for it.

I decided to make up some Birthday Gift bags and I've used the Beautifully Penned DSP and my Brayers for this one. I love the Paper as a Black and White Print - but how awesome does it look when it's been coloured. Don't forget that this Paper is FREE during Sale abration - which ends on Thursday, so be sure to get in whilst you can.

I have made two bags from one sheet of 12x12" paper, and just used the two different side. I used the Bermuda Bay for the Leaf Print and Smoky Slate for a more subtle bag with the dots which is the pattern on the other side.

The finished dimensions are 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 1 1/2", so a great size to fill with all sorts of goodies.

Here's the colour combo that has been set....

Measurements - I'll give them for just one bag

Beautifully Penned DSP

1pc - 12"x 6"

fussy cut flower cluster

Basic White

scrap

Coloured Card stock

Scrap

------------------------

Take the DSP And with your brayer and ink to the whole piece. I used a brayer because I like how it covered it, but you could use blending brushes or sponges.

Once dry, pop into your Simply Scored and score as follows:-

Long Side - 1 1/2", 5 3/4", 7 1/4" & 11 1/2"

Long Side (Part Scores) - score at 3/4" & 6 1/2" down to approx 3"

Fold and burnish your full score lines well and then cut up the shorter score line to create square tabs and take away the small skinny rectangle and the bottom right, so you are left with this....

Add tear and tape to the thin tab  on the right and then fold this around and adhere to the opposite side. At the bottom, fold in the sides, the back and then adhere the front panel down

Pinch in the top of the bag, the part score lines will help the bag close neatly and evenly. Take a hole punch tool and add two holes about 1 1/2" down from the top. Thread through some Gingham ribbon and tie in a bow or a square knot at the front.

On a scrap of basic white, stamp the sentiment and layer onto coloured card Stock add this to the front of the bag towards the bottom left, then add a fussy cut flower from the DSP which is coloured in with Stampin write markers.

Finally add some rhinestones for a little bling - on one of the bags, I coloured the rhinestones with the my Stampin Blends.
