Blackberry Beauty Gold Embossed Dragonfly Birthday Card. Share it on a Sunday

 Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Sunday - Yep, that means we have a fabulous Share it on a Sunday installment for you!  This week we are showcasing some of our faves from the new mini catalogue and the Sale a Bration book.

I've chosen to use the gorgeous Blackberry Beauty DSP and the Sweet & Treats stamp set from the new mini catalogue and added the Dragonflies from the annual.

Measurements

Blackberry Bliss Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

scraps

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Blackberry Beauty DSP

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Take the Blackberry Bliss card stock and fold along the score line. Add the piece of basic white to the inside and the DSP to the card front.

Punch out a Large and two small dragonflies from some Blackberry Bliss card stock scraps. ad some versamark to them, this doesn't want to be neat and fully covered, you are wanting some of the colour to show through. Sprinkle on Gold embossing powder and heat set with your heat tool. 

Add these to the card front over the flowers at the bottom of the DSP panel.

Now take a scrap of BlackBerry Bliss and cut it into a thin strip - keep the length long. Stamp the sentiment from Sweets & Treats in versamark and gold heat emboss.

Once the embossing has cooled, take the tailored tag punch and create banner tails onto eith end of the sentiment. To do this, but one end into the punch lining up the top point and making sure it is central, do the same on the other side.

Now add this to the card front at the top above the printed flowers.

So, I've mixed Annual and Mini catalogue goodies - Stampin Up is really good and making sure you can do this, complimenting your current stash! It's a pretty simple card, but I think that it really does Shine.
