Pretty Perennials Happy Birthday Card. Share it on a Sunday

Good Morning Everyone,

It's Sunday and that means we have a Share it on a Sunday for you. This week we have the theme KIDS. I'm not going to lie I have really struggled with this particular theme this week. I took a massive hit on my collection with the retiring list, which did mean I got to splurge on lots and lots of brand new lovely stuff - but it does mean that whilst I await the delivery of that order I have limited supplies to create!

So, I thought about this and I actually have a birthday coming up for a teenager, she will be 14 and older than her years who is interested in anything and everything but nothing in particular - you know what I mean.

I decided that I couldn't go wrong with a simple bright flower design using the Pretty Perennials bundle.

Measurements

Bermuda Bay Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

2pc - 5 3/8" x 3 5/8"

Gorgeous Grape Card Stock

1pc - scrap

Daffodil Delight Card Stock

1pc - scrap

Magenta Madness Card Stock

1pc - scrap

Take the Bermuda Bay card stock and fold along the score line and round two opposite corners using the Detailed Trip Punch. Also round the same corners on both pieces of Basic White card stock, adding one piece to the inside. On the card front take the flower centre stamp ink it up in bermuda bay ink and cover the card front.

On scraps of basic white stamp the flowers and cut out using the coordinating dies, also cutting out some of the internal pieces using scraps of daffodil delight, gorgeous grape and magenta madness card stock. layer these two pieces together making sure you have contrasting colours together. Pop a rhinestone into the centre of each flower.

Stamp the happy in Magenta madness onto a scrap of basic white card stock and fussy cut.

Take the birthday stamp and place just below half way down the remaining basic white panel then add this to the card front - add the Happy with dimensionals and dot the flowers about. also, pop a line of rhinestones to the square edges of the white layer.
