Good Morning Everyone,
Today I'm taking Part in the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #522 - which is a fabulous colour challenge. I absolutely love this mix of colours, they work so well together.
I opted for a very simple and easy way to add colour and that was with 1" strips of all three of these colours and stamping a flower in black into the centre. It's taken a while, but I definitely think I'm finding my groove when it comes to CAS cards. What do you think?
Measurements
Thick Basic White Card Stock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
Basic White Card Stock
1pc - 3" x 3"
Blueberry Bushel Card Stock
1pc - 1" x 3"
Fresh Freesia Card Stock
1pc - 1" x 3"
Daffodil Delight Card Stock
1pc - 1" x 3"
------------------------------------------
Take the 3" x 3" square of Basic White and adhere the three 1" strips of card stock to it.
Ink up the flower image from Contour and Stamp in Memento into the centre, making sure the you stamp it low enough so that you don't get all the stem onto it.
Fold your thick Basic White along the score line to create your card base.
Ink up the flower image again in memento ink and stamp onto the card front. As you can see the stem continues below the card stock panel, so before you stamp, make sure you check where that will be on your card front so that you can line it up so it looks seamless.
Add the panel over the stamped image with liquid glue, making sure you line it up as best you can.
Finally add the Sentiment to the bottom right hand side using Memento Ink.
