Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Monday! I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend. We can finally see the end of the sickness bug in our house - we aren't 100%, but so much better than we have been - thankfully! So I'm hoping that we can get back into our usual routine and schedule very soon.
I have managed to get a little craft time in and amongst everything else and I wanted to share this with you!
It's such a fun card - and ridiculously easy to make. You don't need lots of fancy supplies, stamp sets or products to achieve a great result.
I used my Basic Black Stamp n Write marker and pretty much just squiggled all over a piece of basic white, created blob type shapes - Coloured using a selection of Stampin Blends and you have your background, then a separate Blob Shape to make into your Friendly Monster
Measurements
Basic Black Card Stock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

Basic White Card Stock
2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

--------------------------------------
Take the Basic Black card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base and add one of the Basic White pieces to the inside.
On the remaining piece of Basic White card stock, draw out your 'Blobs' with the brush end of your Basic Black Stampin Write Marker. You could always draw out your design in pencil first to make sure you are happy, then go over with the marker. Once you are happy with the outlines colour in all the shapes.
Add this to the card front.
ON a scrap draw out another larger blob, keeping in mind you want this to become your monster - I kind of had arms, stumpy legs and some hair in mind when I was drawing it out - again, this might be easier to have a bit of a practice first to get your shape as you want it. Colour in and cut out. Layer onto a piece of Basic Black and fussy cut - leaving a nice border.
I added some googly eyes, but you could just draw these on if your don't have any, along with a mouth.
On some more scrap Basic White stamp both the words from Biggest wish in memento and fussy cut. Layer onto Basic Black card stock and trim down to get a nice border.
Arrange the sentiment and monster on your card front and adhere with dimensionals.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today - I had so much fun creating it!
