Friendly Hello Best Birthday Gate Fold Card. Stamping with Friends Fancy Fold Birthday Blog Hop. February 2022

 Good Evening Everyone

Today I am Blog Hopping with the fabulous Stamping with Friends group and our theme is Fancy Fold Birthday.

With only a few days left of Saleabration I wanted to show my favourite offering, which is the Friendly Hello stamp set and DSP bundle. It's a FREE bundle available with a qualifying purchase. Contact me for more information, be quick tho you don;t want to miss out!

A gate Fold card was my obvious choice - it's such an easy fold to create and it gave the opportunity to really show off the beautiful paper and stamp set.

Measurements

Evening Evergreen Card Stock

1pc - 11" x 6"

1pc - 3 1/4" x 3 1/4"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 3" x 3"

1pc - 4 3/4" x 5"

Friendly Hello DSP

1pc - 5 7/8" x 5 3/8"

2pc - 5 7/8" x 2 5/8"

----------------------------------------

Take the Evening Evergreen Card stock and score on the long side at 2 3/4" and 8 1/4". Fold the card from the left hand side into the centre, and the right hand into the centre to create your gate, make sure you have the edges lined up perfectly and burnish well with a bone folder.

Add the largest piece basic white the the largest piece of DSP  and adhere to the inside of the card.

Then colour in the two strips of DSP with a selection of blends. Now, add to both of the 'doors' on the front of the card. I made sure I cut these pieces in a particular way that the pattern followed directly and correctly across both parts, I personally prefer this look, especially as this paper has a defined pattern but you really don't have to.

Take the remaining piece of Basic White DSP and stamp the sentiment and bird image in memento ink, once fuly dry colour in with blends.

Layer this piece onto the remaining Evening Evergreen Cardstock. Pop dimensionals on the back of the, making sure you only cover half of the piece. Add this to the card front, making sure that the piece is central and only cover one of the front gate sections. If you do go over you may end up sticking your card closed!
