Good Morning Everyone
We have another Share it on a Sunday for you today and this week we are all showcasing Punches.
I absolutely love punches, they are a quick and easy way to cut out your shapes, but you can also do some clever things with them as well. I have used the Ladybug and Daisy punch as 'normal', but I created a chevron pattern with DSP using my Tailored tag punch. I've used both the Daffodil Afternoon & Simply Marbleous DSP - which are FREE saleabration rewards! What do you think of my card today?

----------------------------------------
Create your Ladybug by stamping the wings in real red and adding memento for the dots. Cut out using the ladybug builder punch, also cut out a body in basic black and glue bot pieces together.
Punch out three of the Daisy shapes from the Simply Marbleous DSP in Bumblebee. Lightly sponge all the edges with bumblembee ink. Layer all three together to get a really full flower head. Add a large iridescent rhinestone to the centre and then run a row of the next largest rhinestones around it to create the flower centre.
Cut a strip of Daffodil Afternoon DSP to 2 5/16", that happen to be the width of the cut out - not the most straight forward measurement, but this needs to be accurate.
Place the end of the Tailored Tag punch in and create a small banner tail with points.
Then take this strip and pop it back into the punch and make sure the points on either side sit at the second corner down.
This will ensure even sizes of chevrons and help you keep it all straight. Now this process may take a little time and concentration, but it's definitely worth it in the end.
Take the thin strip of basic white, add some liquid glue then place the chevrons down next to each other, alternating the design. I used both sides of one piece of DSP but you could do this in any colour way or design you like - full up the full length of the card and once dry trim down to the size you desire. My piece is approx 1 1/2" wide as I felt that the full width was too much for my card.
Take the last piece of basic white card stock and stamp the sentiment from Garden Birdhouses into the top right in memento. Then add the chevron strip to the left and trim if needed.
Layer this to the basic black mat.
Fold the Thick Basic White card stock along the score line to create your card base and the add the panel from above.
Finally, add the Daisy and the Ladybug with Dimensionals.
I hope you enjoyed today's card - please head on over to see what Donna & Karen have both created today
