Sunshine & Rainbows Just Driving By Pop Out Z Fold Card. Ink Stamp Share Showcase Blog Hop February 2022

  Good Afternoon Everyone

I'm hopping along with the Ink Stamp Share ladies this afternoon and we have a Showcase hop for you. That means we haven't got a set theme to work with - we can show you whatever we want! So I decided to show this fabulous Pop Out Z Fold Card I've made. I have decorated it with two FREE products from Sale abration, and I thought it worked really well. It took a bit of time, and a bit of product but I think it was well worth it - what do you think?

----------------------------------------

Take the Bermuda Bay & Basic Black card stock and score on the long side at 2 1/2" and %" on both pieces. Fold the Card to create your Z shape. On the Bermuda Bay the larger panel sits and the back and the larger section of the Basic Black sits towards the front.

Add the pieces of DSP to the Bermuda Bay Card Stock.

Cut up a handful of 1/4" x 1/2" strips of basic white and adhere these through the centre of the basic black piece, to create a road.

Add adhesive to the back of the short end panel and glue this down to the back panel of the bermuda bay. Make sure that the bottom and right edge line up with the card below.

Now, add adhesive to the larger section of basic black put only on the left hand half of it - this will adhere to the front panel only so if you come across to far you risk gluing your card shut.

You should now have the basic shape so it's on to decorating.

On Scraps of Basic White stamp the following:-

  • Happy & Birthday from Biggest Wish in Night of Navy ink
  • 4 of the cars from Driving By in Memento ink
  • 2 of the Sentiments Driving By Just to Say in memento
Colour in the car images with Stampin Blends fussy cut and arrange on the road - just be mindful of placement and how the card fold flat.

Trim down the Happy and Birthday, layer to Night of Navy Card stock and add to the back panel of the card with two of the fussy cut clouds. Then add two clouds to the middle panel.

Seperate the Driving sentiment into individual words - I found it easier to stamp two and use one for the top line and one for the bottom - otherwise you will be left with a really tiny white border. Add these all to their own night of navy mat and then add to the front panel.

I hope you enjoyed today's card, please take a look at the list below and continue through the hop - there will be lots and lots of inspiration and fun projects to see
