Friendly Hello Best Birthday Gift Bags. Stampin Birds Showcase Blog Hop. February 2022

 Good Morning Everyone

Today I'm hopping with the Stampin Birds and as usual we don't have a set theme, we just get to show off some great creations.

There's only a few days left of Saleabration so I decided that I needed to us the Beautiful Friendly Hello bundle just one more time!

I just love these gift bags, each uses 1/2" a sheet of 12x12" so you can get both from one sheet - in fact, here I used the same sheet. Each side gives you such a different look.

They measure 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 1 1/2" , so a great size to fit all sorts of goodies in.

Measurements per Bag

Friendly Hello DSP

1pc - 6" x 12"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - scrap

------------------------------

Take you piece of DSP and scroe as Follows:-

Long Side - 1 1/2", 5 3/4", 7 1/4" & 11 1/2"

Short Side - 4 1/2"

Make sure that if your paper is directional, it is facing to the left.

Fold and burnish all your score lines, then holding on the long side - cut up all the vertical score lines to the first horizontal score line and notch into the squares to make tabs. then remove the small skinny rectangle on the lower right. You will be left with a long thin skinny rectangle ion the right - notch in slight to the top and bottom. You will have a piece of paper that looks like this

Add tear and tape to the skinny rectangle and the fold this round to adhere to the opposite edge of DSP. Ad the bottom, fold in the sides and back, then adhere down the front to create your base.

Pinch in the sides at the top and gently shape.

Take a hole punch and add two holes to the top. thread through some of the Denim ribbon and tie in a bow to the front.

On a scrap of basic white, stamp the bird and sentiment in memento ink, then trim down. Add dimensionals to the bag and add the front of the bag.

I hope you enjoyed today's project, please continue through the hop and visit Donna who is up next.
