Good Morning Everyone,
It's Sunday again, I don't know about you but it seems to be coming round quick, doesn't it? So, for today's Share it on a Sunday theme we are making a Masculine Treat Box. I decided to create a gift box for a young male child filled with Starburst! The final measurements are 3 1/2" x 1 3/4" x 1 3/4", so it's a really good size to fit allsorts in!
Measurements
Night of Navy Cardstock
1pc - 8 3/4" x 7"
Granny Apple Green Cardstock
scraps for the letters
Playing with Patterns DSP
3pc - 3 3.8" x 1 5/8"
2pc - 1 5/8" x 1 5/8"
Take your Night and Navy cardstock and pop it into the simply scored and score as follows:-
Long side - 1 3/4", 3 1/2", 5 1/4" & 7"
Short side - 1 3/4" & 5 1/4"
Now fold and burnish all the score lines, then using your snips, cut away at the cardstock so you are left with a shape like this
Next add the DSP panels. Now, if you cut a piece for the length of 3 3/8" first, then cut down to 1 5/8", you will be able to get the pattern to follow on and look continuous on the larger panels. Once all the panels are all adhered towards the right hand side, add a small thumb notch to the large decorated panel on the right hand side. See below...
Add seal+ to all the panels labelled A and B above. The B panels fold in to create the base and the A panels fold to become the lid.
On a scrap of whisper white stamp the car outline in memento ink and use the solid image to colour it in with Granny Apple Green. fussy cut and add to the front of the box with a dimensional.
Take the scraps of Granny Apple Green cardstock and run through the cut and emboss machine with the playful alphabet dies for create the words FOR YOU. Glue these down to the lip to the box and you are all done.
