Good Afternoon Everyone,
I hope you are well. The sunshine seems to have disappeared today, it's much cooler - which means I might actually get something done today, rather than just chill out in the garden haha.
Although the sunshine has gone, it's very much still here on my card for today.
Using the Basket of Blooms stamp set and some nice bright colours, I've created a fab Birthday Card.
Measurements
Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 2 3/4" x 4 3/8"
Take your Pumpkin Pie Cardstock and fold along the score line, at the largest piece of whisper white to the front. Next, close the card, and start a border around the card front edge in pumpkin pie ink, alternating the to smaller flowers.
On scraps of whisper white stamp out the flower pot, adding the bow to it too. Then also stamp out 5 of the flowers. Do this in memento black ink.
Once the ink has dried colour the flower pot in with Pumpkin Pie Blends and the flowers in Poppy Parade blends. Fussy cut all these out.
Next Add the sentiment to the top of the remaining piece of whisper white and add two of the leaves images below in memento, making sure you don't do too low as you need to fit the plant pot onto it. Once the memento has dried, colour the leaves with Old Olive Blends. Add this panel to the card front to sit inside the floral border you stamped earlier.
Now add dimensionals to the flower pot and cover up the stems of the leaves, add dot about the flowers in amongst the leaves.
Here's a list of all the supplies I used in my card, click on the images to head over to my online store.
