Peaceful Poppies Cute Handmade Birthday Gift Bag

Good Evening Everybody,

Hope you are all well, and you are all surviving the current situation as best as you can.

I thought I would try and brighten up the day with this super cute gift bag. Easy to make, and with the wonderful Peaceful Poppies DSP the decoration is minimal effort.

Measurements

Peaceful Poppies DSP
1pc - 6" x 12"

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - scrap for the sentiment

Take your peaceful poppies dsp and place in the simply scored with the paper facing the right way up and score at...
1 1/2", 5 3/4", 7 1/4" &11 1/2".
Then rotate the card stock 90 degrees clockwise (so the pattern is pointing toward the right) and score at 1 1/2".

Fold and burnish all the score lines, then holding the DSP landscapes, cut up all the score lines to the horizontal, then notch into the squares slightly. Then remove the small rectangle from the bottom right, then notch ever so slightly into the tab above, top and bottom. You should have a piece that now looks like this...

Now add tear and tape to the thin tab and adhere to the opposite side. Fold in the sides, back and adhere down thefront to create the base. Gently squeeze the top together, this will encourage your sidesto bend in slightly. With the top pinched in, add two holes using a small hole punch.

Thread through a long length of tulle ribbon and tie in a loose-ish knot, I tried a bow but it was an epic fail!

Now run the second largest oval from the stitched shapes dies with a scrap of whisper white. Stamp the sentiment in the centre, then using the dots image from Perennial Birthday Stamp Set, add some all the way around using Poppy Parade, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive inks.

Add this to the bag using Dimensionals.
