Thank You for Everything Big Blossom Card. Number 20 of #100things

Good Morning Everyone,

Today I wanted to focus on a punch that I think gets easily forgotten about, I know I do!!

The blossom Builder punch is awesome and creates a beautiful big flower, with very little effort on your part. I created a flower and used it to embellish a simple card, which I hope you agree  if very effective.

Measurements:-

Whisper White Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
1pc - 1 1/8" x 3 1/8"

Flirty Flamingo Card Stock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Tranquil Tide Card Stock
1pc - 1 1/4" x  3 1/4"

Plus Scraps of Pineapple Punch, Powder Pink & Old Olive.

Cut a circle out of Powder Pink using the 3/4" circle punch, then punch out 6 large petals & 6 smaller Petals from the same Powder Pink cardstock, sponge the edges of all the petals with Powder Pink Ink. Then punch three leaves from the Old Olive & a Flower centre out of the Pineapple Punch.

Curl the edges of all the petals, and then using the circle as a base, adhere the larger petals to cover, overlapping the edges slightly. then do the same with the smaller petals, off setting these so the sit in the centre of the larger petals. Add the centre with a dimensional and cover with wink of stella. Position the leaves so you can see them 'poking' out from the flower.

Bring in the big shot and run the Flirty Flamingo cardstock in the Tufted Embossing folder - remember this is a dynamics folder so it is thicker than the normal ones, meaning you will have to adjust your usual sandwich.

Fold over your large piece of whisper white to create the card base and round two opposite corners, round the same corners of the flirty flamingo piece, and layer this together.

Stamp the sentiment onto the whisper white piece you have left in Flirty Flamingo towards the right hand side. sponge the edges with Powder Pink ink and Layer onto the tranquil tide cardstock. Adhere this to the card base towards the right hand side and then attached the blossom embellishment towards the left hand side.
