In Colour Daisy Thank You cards and Box. Number 23 of #100things

Hello Everyone

Happy Friday, I hope you are all ready for the weekend and have some great things planned.

Now, today my project is a little longer than most, and that's for a good reason - we are technically we are doing two projects in one.

I have this awesome Thank You box which hold five 4" notecards and envelopes - perfect for 1 each of our beautiful in colours for 2018-2020. The box measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 1 1/2" so its a great size for all sorts of goodies if you didn't want t pop cards in.

THE CARDS

Create a card base from a piece of card stock that measures 4"x8" scored at 4".  for each card cut two pieces of whisper white that measure 3 1/2" x 3 1/2". Layer one piece inside the card.  Take the second piece and place it in your simply scored. Add four score lines, rotate 90 degrees clockwise and do the same again, to create the design below:-

Stamp the thank you sentiment in the top righthand corner and then glue the panel to the card base.

On a piece of coordinating cardstock, stamp the daisy stamp twice in the same colour ink and punch out using the daisy punch, offset layer these together to get  full flower head and add to the card over where your score lines meet. Add a faceted gem to the centre.

Repeat this process and create a card in each of the in colours.

THE BOX

First of all create a panel exactly like you created the card front but on a piece of whisper white and then put to one side.

Take a piece of cardstock that measures 8 1/4" x 12" and score on the long side at 1/2",  4 3/4", 6 1/4" & 10 1/2" then on the short side at 1 1/2", 5 3/4" & 7 1/4". Fold and burnish all the lines well and then cut away the various sections to create this shape.

Add a blueberry bushel piece of cardstock at measures 3 5/8" x 3 5/8" to the right hand panel and then adhere the thank you panel you created earlier. Take the 3/4" circle punch and place a small notch in this panel also.

Run tear and tape over the flap and adhere to the opposite side, fold in the flaps at the bottom to create your base.

You will need to carefully wedge slightly into the flap at the top, I made a small diagonal cut and made sure it was even at both sides. this just helped the lid close flush.

Now you just need to fill the box with the cards and envelopes and you are done!

Here's a list of the supplies used today, Click on the images to head over to my online store.
