Share What You Love Fun Fold Card with a Stand. Number 22 of #100things

Hi Everyone,

Can you believe it is Thursday already? Saying that I start my working week on Tuesday this week!! hahaha.

This weeks DT Challenge on Stampin For All is Full Folds and I remembered watching a tutorial on a card with a stand so today I have a card, that was inspired by a YouTube video from Scrimping Mommy.

Amanda Charlesworth is a very talented crafter who continues to create amazing Projects, and the one I have chosen to CASE today is no exception.

Here's the link for Amanda's Video Card With a Stand - Lily Pad Lake  and here's my interpretation:-

Measurements

Old Olive Card Stock

1pc - 8 1/4" x 6"

Share What You Love Designer Series Paper
2pc - 3 3/4" x 5 3/4"

Whisper White Card Stock
1pc - 3 3/4" x 5 3/4"

Take the piece old olive and score at 4 1/8". Then in you trimmer line up your card along the track as below.

Trim a diagonal line from one corner to the edge of the score line at the top of the card, repeat on both sides and you will be left with this shape:-

Using the same method, cut the share what you love DSP into triangles as well as the whips white cardstock. So you have the shapes below:-

Layer these triangles onto the Old Olive cardstock. Place all the DSP triangle on the front, and add the whisper white to the to central triangles on the back - this will give you somewhere to write your message.

Using a ruler, place a small pencil mark at the two inch mark running up the diagonal edge from the bottom on both sides. Create a small slit either side - this will provide a ledge in which the front piece can sit.

Angle the two loose triangle to create the shape as displayed in the top photo. Add a little bit of adhesive to keep the two triangle together. It will give them a bit more strength and it will be a little more sturdy.

Bring in your big shot and using the stitched shape framelits cut an old olive square with the second largest die and a whisper white square with the next size down.

Stamp the sentiment onto the whisper white square positioned as a diamond, then adhere this to the old olive square. add this to the centre of the card.

To finish it off I fussy cut a few flowers and leaves and adhered these to the sentiment panel.

Here's a list of all the supplies I used today, click on the images to head over to my online store.
