Blueberry Bushel Best Route Mini Gift Box. Number 16 of #100things

Hello Everyone,

Sorry that my posts are a little more sporadic than usual - I'm still not 100% so blogging everyday is very hard work currently, I am getting better - just a little slower than I hoped - but I have still managed to create a few bits and bobs to share with you.

Today I have this beautiful Blueberry Bushel mini gift box decorated with the best route DSP. The final dimensions are 1 1/4" x 1" x 2 1/4" so it's a cute little box great for a few little sweet treats, and you can get two from one sheet of A4 cardstock.

Measurements

Blueberry Bushel Card Stock
1pc - 5 3/4" x 5 1/4"

Best Route Designer Series Paper
2pc - 2" x 1/4"
2pc - 2" x 3/4"
2pc - 1 1/4" x 3/4"

Take your piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock and score on the long side at 3/4", 1 3/4", 4" & 5". Then on the short side, score at 1 1/2", 2 1/2", 4" & 5". Fold and burnish all the score lines with your bone folder and you will be left will a piece of cardstock that looks like this:-

Take your snips and cut away sections to create the below shape:-

Add the DSP Panels as above, then using the 3/4" circle punch create a tiny thumb notch in the furthest left hand panel. Run tear and tape on right hand tab and fold round and adhere to the opposite side. Fold in the sides and close up the top and bottom of the box.

Rub your embossing buddy lightly over a scrap of Blueberry Bushel then ink up the scallop circle in versamark and stamp. Ink up the for you sentiment in versamark also and centralise in the circle. Cover with white embossing powder and light tap the card to remove any excess powder. Bring in the heat tool and melt the powder to create a glossy shiny sentiment. Leave this to cool for a minute or so, then punch out with the 3/4" circle punch. Add this to the front of the box with a dimensional.

Cut a small length of the grosgrain ribbon and angle the ends, fold over on itself and create 'tails'. Tuck this under the sentiment and secure with a glue dot.

Here's a list of the supplies I used today, click on the images to head over to my online store:-

Thanks again for joining me today, and thank you for bearing with me whilst I am under the weather.

See you all soon
