Fresh Florals & Petal Passion You're the best Greeting Card using Stampin Up!

Good Afternoon Everyone,

What a wonderful Bank Holiday it has been. Having the sunshine out for three days running seems to have been a distant memory, especially on the three day weekend - so I have taken advantage and had a day out in Bridlington, spent hours in the garden having BBQs and having a good old cold beer or three. Although I have had a little time in the craft room.

Today I needed to make up some thank you/appreciation cards, I wanted then to be very quick to create, but still very nice and that the recipient would still love.

I love the Fresh floral DSP, and it creates a great background with the tranquil tide against the basic gray card base

The sentiment is from the label me pretty bundle. you can stamp a variety of images and text and then use the coordinating punch to cut out. I added loops of silver metallic thread behind the sentiment and adhered to the card base using dimensionals. I added a couple of pearl embellishments

The Pretty little bird was made using the petal palette bundle, I stamped with the memento black ink and coloured in using my aqua painters and Tempting Turquoise & Daffodil Delight inks. This again was added to the card front with Dimensionals and I was done.

Here's a list of all the listens used today, if you would like to purchase, click on the links to my online store. Don't forget with the arrival of the new catalogue, the Fresh Florals DSP with retire and so will the bundle price of the two bundles I used. Currently you can get a 10% discount if you purchase as a bundle - they will carry over into the next catalogue but you will have to purchase seperately.

Product List
Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you will come back soon.

  1. I love the overall effect of this card design. I love the busy patterned DSP and the curvy sentiment with the metallic thread wrapped around it and I love the bird from the Petal Palette stamp set just sitting on the sentiment. You have such a good eye for simple, clean and quality cards Vicky. xx
