Good Afternoon Everyone
This afternoon I'm blog hoping with the Crafty Collaborations and our theme is CASE a Friend. I decided to take this literally and CASEd one of my bestest crafty friends, Karen Egan of Crafty Karen Designs.
I saw this project when she originally made it back in December, and It's been on my list to CASE, and although Karen made a batch of Christmas ones,I have a birthday coming up where this Gift Wallet would be perfect, so I've killed two birds with one stone. (Don't worry, They wont see this post! haha).
It is a very simple design but with our DSP, it can look amazing. Karen's closed with stamped image with velcro behind, but I didn't have any velcro, so I went for a belly band closure instead.

--------------------------------
Take the Cinnamon Cider card stock and score on the long side at 1" and 4 1/8".
On the basic white piece, stamp the sentiment in cinnamon cider into the centre of the card.
Adhere all the DSP to the card base as follows..
Hold the card 'open' add tear and tape to the top and bottom to the skinny rectangular panel to the left (as above) the fold over so it creates a pocket. Fold the card closed.
Wrap the Garden Green card stock strip and the card and over lap it slightly at the front to create a belly band. Make sure that the band is relatively tight, but loose enough to slide on and off simply. Once the glue has dried, trim off any excess card over the centre.
Using your Beautiful Shapes Dies cut the largest circle in some of the green DSP and the next size down in basic white. Stamp the sentiment onto the white and layer these together - placing this piece into the centre of a misty moonlight doily
Add a couple of dimensionals onto belly band in the centre and then adhere the doily to it.
It's a really simple design but makes a really pretty and fancier way to give a gift card.
I hope you liked today's project. Please do continue through the Hop and see the creations made by these wonderfully talented ladies, and those who they have CASEd.
