Good Evening Everyone
Hope you are all well, are ready for the weekend?
I'm taking part in the Stamp n Hop Packaging Blog Hop today and I decided on creating my own packaging using Stampin Up products so here's my cute 2" x2" x2" cube gift box which holds a small stack of tea lights.
The design has been kept super simple with the floral squares dies and with the Bold colours looks really striking.
Measurements
Basic Black Card Stock
1pc - 8 1/2" x 6 1/2"
Granny Apple Green Card Stock

Polished Pink Card Stock

------------------------------------
Take your piece of Basic Black Card stock and score as Follows:-
Long Side - 2", 4", 6" & 8"
Short Side - 2", 4" & 6"
Fold and burnish all the score lines, the take you snips and cut away to create a shape like this...
Bring in your Mini Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out five of the Square Floral panels in Granny Apple Green. There are four in the set, so I duplicated just one, but you could any you prefer.
Also cut out a selection of the flower heads in Polished Pink card stock to match the frame you have cut. Glue these Polished pink pieces to your Granny Apple Green panels where the flowers heads are.
Adhere these pieces to the basic black card stock, four pieces running along the centre and one on the top - this one on the top create your lid, so it will need to be stuck upside down as you look at the flat card - this way once built it will be the right way round
Add tear and tape to the thin rectangular tab on the ? and fold round. Then at the bottom fold in the sides, back and then adhere down the front to create your base. Fold your lid over and tuck in to close. The mitered edges on the tab will help it close smoothly, and that is the box complete! You could try and add a sentiment, but I think it looks great as it is - and I didn't want to cover any of it up! haha.
I hope you enjoyed today's project, please continue through the hop for lots more inspiration on the Packaging theme. Annette is up next, click on the next button below to head on over to her blog
