Elegantly Said Henna Hearts Gift Box.

 Good Afternoon Everyone

I made a box a week or so ago and was asked by a friend if I could scale it up so that is what today's project is all about.

This lidded box measures 6" x 4" x 2", so hopefully this will fit the bill.

I decided on using the Henna Hearts stamp set to create my lid and decoration with the sentiment coming from the Elegantly Said stamp set. I thought the combination of Polished Pink and Soft Succulent was nice and fresh, went with the heart theme but green tone settles down the pink shades.

Measurements

Soft Succulent Card Stock

10" x 8"

Polished Pink Card Stock

8" x 6"

Basic White Card Stock

scrap

-------------------------------------------------

Take the Soft Succulent card stock and score on all four sides at 2". Fold and Burnish well. Then cut up all the square lines to release the squares and notch in to crete four tabs on the corners.

Now, ink up the Heart image in Polished Pink ink and cover the piece of Polished Pink Card stock. Also Stamp a heart onto a scrap of basic white and pop this to one side. Place the Card stock into your Simply Scored and score on all four sides at 1", but bring the card stock away from the edge ever so slightly - this will help the lid to fit over the base better and more snug.

Fold and burnish all the score lines, and as above cut away to create four tabs on the corners.

Add Tear and tape to all the tabs you have created and fold in to create the base and the lid.

Bring back to stamped image on the scrap. Ink up the For You sentiment and add to the centre of the image. I would do this first and take your time to make sure it's right. the last thing you want to do is colour it and cut it all to fit you have stamped the sentiment all wonky!!

Once the ink is fully dried, go in with your light Flirty Flamingo Stampin Blend and add some colour to it. Fussy cut it and add to the lid with Dimensionals
