Abstract Beauty Thank You Card. Touches of Ink Blog Hop. March 2022

 Good Evening Everyone

I hope you are all well.

Today I'm blog hopping with the Touches of Ink ladies and this month we have Free Choice on a Suite or Bundle to showcase.

I am in love with the Abstract Beauty Suite, so I thought I would have another play around with it today. It also contains a few of our retiring 2020-2022 In Colors, so I thought it why not? I love the fact we get the rotation of In Colors and am sad to see most retire, but this particular set has been used so much, I will really really miss all the five colours!

My card is simply, and relies heavily on the beautiful DSP making it a quick and frugal make. What do you think?

--------------------------------

Take your Magenta Madness Card Stock and fold along the score line to create your card base,  then add the basic white panel to the inside.

Add some of the scrap strips of card stock along the centre of the 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" piece of DSP and trim the edges so they are all flush with the piece below.

Using your 3 circle dies from the Beautiful Shapes Dies and your Mini Cut & Emboss Machine cut out a selection of  circles with the DSP and on large circle in basic white.

On the Basic White Circle stamp the sentiment in the centre in Misty Moonlight ink, then add the flowers and leaves around the edge. I used first and second generation stamping (stamp off once) to create the different shades.

Add the the Basic white to the DSP panel with dimensionals, and then place the DSP circles around it with liquid glue- making sure some go over the edge - trim down so it's all flush again with the DSP below. I focused my circles to cover just the left side, but you could play around with a different placement if you would prefer.

Easy Peasy! It's a great design to use up your scraps or be a little frugal with those supplies - I think this format would look lovely in so many of our wonderful DSP.

I hope you have enjoyed today's card. Please continue through the hop to see what Patricia Lemke has made to share.
