I hope you are well this Saturday Morning and have some fun planned for the weekend.
My Card today showcases the beautiful lovely lattice stamp set, which is an exclusive stamp set for the sale a bration period. So for every 45 pound you spend you can order a free product from the sale a bration catalogue.
Measurements:-
Basic Black Cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"
Scrap for the sentiment
Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 3 3/4" x 3 1/4"
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
Vellum
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
Fold the basic black along to score line and burnish well. Add the largest piece of whisper white and adhere to the inside of the card.
On the remaining piece of whisper white stamp the image from the Lovely Lattice stamp set and leave to dry completely. Once dry colour in using your Stampin Blends. I used both the light and dark blends of each colour to create shading and depth. Fussy cut and cover the back in dimensionals.
Rub the vellum with your embossing buddy, this will remove any dirt, grease & oil from the piece. Stamp the dots image in versamark and stamp all over the vellum . Cover with clear embossing powder, lighty tap off the excess and them heat set with your heat too
Repeat this process with sentiment and gold embossing powder on a piece of basic black.
Add snail in the vellum piece onto the back on the vellum, only in places you know will get covered - you can usually see adhesive through the vellum, so it will spoil the finished look of you card. If you specifically place it where it will be covered, no one will see it. I placed it in the centre on the piece and then a small line approx. and inch and a half up from the bottom.
Add this to the card front, then place the image and sentiment over the snail lines to hid it.
