Daisy Delight Mother Day Gift Bag

Hey Everyone,

Happy Sunday! I hope you all have some exciting plans ahead for the day. We are in full decorating mode again this weekend, our bedroom is finished, so we need to make a start on Baby Imogen's room. Although I a hoping to get a little time in the craft room today, I won't hold my breath!!

Today I wanted to dig out an oldie but goodie stamp set, which I haven't used for ages. The Daisy Delight stamp set and punch were perfect for this project.

Measurements

Melon Mambo Cardstock
1pc - 10" x 5 1/4"

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 3 1/4" x 4"
Scraps for the stamping

Place the cardstock in the simply scored and score on the long side at 1", 4 1/2", 5 1/2" & 9", then part score down to approx. 3" at 1/2", 5" & 9 1/2". Finally on the short side at 4 1/4". fold and burnish all the full score lines well with a bone folder. Snip away the following sections to create the shape below.

Stamp the Happy Mother's Day sentiment from Strong & Beautiful and add to the cardstock as above. Add tear & tape to the tab n the right hand side and fold round to create the box. Fold in the sides, back and then adhere the front flap down to create the base.

On your scraps stamp two of the daisy images in melon mambo and cut out using the coordinating punch. Carefully curl each petal on both cut outs, then stick together using a dimensional. Make sure you offset the petals to create a full flower. Place a clear faceted gem in the centre then add to your bag.

Pinch on the top of the bag, and add the two holes with the 1/8" handheld punch. thread through a length of tulle polka dot ribbon and tie a bow to close.

Here's a list of all the supplies I used today, click on the images to head over to my online store.

See you Soon
