Sentimental Park Thank You Card. Stamping INKspirations Die Cut Challenge Hop. March 2023

 Good Evening Everyone,

Today I'm Blog hopping with the Stamping INKspirations ladies and our theme is 'Die Cutting'. Dies can really enhance your projects, from simply cutting around basic images to creating very detailed focus in your design.

I love to look at how I can stretch my stash further, and that usually involves thinking outside the box when it comes to your kit. Faux Embossing is a brilliant example of that - meaning you can get a bespoke embossed creation, without having to have a separate folder that actually embosses plain card stock. I absolutely love this technique it's not always the quickest way to do something, but you can create something very different.

I decided to use the Regency Park Suite today because It gave me huge scope to work with. I have used some of the outline flower dies to create the faux embossed panel as mentioned above, and then the sentiment piece is using a fabulously detailed die.

Regency Park DSP

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

--------------

Take the Night of Navy card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding the Basic White piece to the inside.

Bring in your Mini Cut & Emboss Machine and your Sentimental Park Dies and cut as follows

 - A handful of the flower outlines in Shaded Spruce Card Stock - I used all three sizes

- One smooth edge label shape in Basic White

- One larger detailed shape in Mango Melody Card Stock.

Take the outline flower die cuts and adhere these down onto the Shaded Spruce card stock strip. Add all offset and fill the space.

Adhere this to the DSP panel towards the left, Then add the whole piece to the card front.

Layer up the basic White and Mango Melody Layers. Sit the Basic White piece on top and then tuck the two corners into the Mango Melody.

Stamp the sentiments onto the Basic White piece, then add this to the card front, slightly off to the right - making sure it does over lap the shaded spruce strip a bit.

Finally add some of the Milky Dots to the flower centres and around the sentiment panel.

I really hope you have enjoyed my project today - please continue through the hop to get lots more die cutting tips, tricks and inspiration, Judith is up next, head on over to her blog now.
