Good Afternoon Everyone
Today I'm blog hopping with the Ink Stamp Share Ladies and it's our Showcase Hop, so we don;t have a set theme - just an opportunity to share a project we have made.
I'm sharing a lidded box I created at the request of a friend - She asked for a gift box to give to a friend who like flowers but isn't over fussy she wanted pretty but simple.
I chose to use a fussy cut floral image from the Awash in Beauty DSP, it's a lovely image and although it uses some of our bolder colours, it looks quite soft. I thought the Evening Evergreen and Basic Black base and lid created the perfect contrast.

1pc - Fussy Cut Floral arrangement
--------------------------------------
Take the Evening Evergreen card stock and score at 1 3/4" on all four sides.
Fold and burnish the score lines well and notch into all the four corner square to create tabs.
Add tear and tape to all four tabs and adhere to the sides to create to base.
For the lid, score the Basic Black card stock at 1" on all four side - if you move the card stock away for the left edge just a fraction on each score line your lid it will fit the box a little better.
Fold and burnish all the score lines and again notch into the squares to create those tabs
Add tear and tape to the tabs and fold them into the side to make the lid.
Pop dimensionals onto the back of the fussy cut flowers and place into the centre of the lid.
On scraps of Basic White card stock stamp the two sentiments in Evening Evergreen ink and then fussy cut, layer these to some scraps of Evening Evergreen Card Stock and fussy cut leaving a nice border around the edge of the white.
Place the onto the lid using some mini dimensionals, keeping as much of the centre of the flower image showing as possible.
I hope you have enjoyed my project today - please take a look at the list below and continue though the hop for lots more paper crafting inspiration.
