Good Morning Everyone
Happy Monday - I hope you all had a fabulous Weekend and have some lovely things planned for the week ahead.
As always, I'm starting the week off sharing my sample for the Brand New Creative Colour Challenges combo. This week we have Poppy Parade, Early Espresso and Balmy Blue.
I've simply used strips of the colours and the Pretty Flowers embossing folder to create a fab background, then added a lovely Poppy and sentiments using the Happiness Abounds bundle.

----------------------------------------
Take the three strips of coloured card and lay them out in front of you , placing the Early Espresso in the centre. The reason two pieces are slightly larger is just because it was so much easier to work these measurements out than trying to split it into equal thirds - and to be honest, it's not massively noticeable. Flip the strips over and add some tape across all three strips to create a larger panel. Make sure you add enough tape to hold them together well.
Bring in your Cut & Emboss Machine and your Pretty Flowers embossing folder and emboss the full panel. Make sure that your place the panel into the folder right side up, so that you get an embossed image rather than a debossed panel (as me how I know!!haha).
Fold the Thick Basic White card stock along the score line to create your card base and then add the embossed panel to the card front.
On a scrap of basic White stamp the large flower image from Happiness Abounds and the cut out with your coordinating die. Colour in with your Poppy Parade Stampin Blends.
Whilst you have the Cut & Emboss machine out, use the notepad topper die to cut into the short side of the remaining Basic White card.
Stamp the sentiments in Early Espresso ink and then add the flower below, trimming the card tag down if you need to.
Finally, add this onto the card front at an angle with Stampin dimensionals.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today, what do you think of the colours? If you would like more information on the challenge, or to add an entry visit my blog - Creative Colour Challenges
