Simply Fabulous Hey! For You Gift Box. Creative Colour Challenges - #CCC51

  Good Morning Everyone

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and are ready to hit the ground running this week. I have a huge to do list that I want to get ticked off this week - It's got house job, craft jobs, kid's admin, my admin... blah blah - so I'm hoping that I can stay productive and get it all done and dusted before the week is out. Dave is off work from Friday for just over a week, so I want the bitty bits done and dusted - please wish me luck! haha

As always, my Monday project is the sample card I made for this week's brand new combo from Creative Colour Challenges. I've created a fun little gift box, decorated with the Simply Fabulous stamp set and all three colour create a really fun 'DSP'.The Box measure 2 3/4" x 1 3/4" x 1 3/4", so it's a lovely size to fit lots of small treats inside.

Measurements

Thick Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 6 3/4" x 7 1/2"

Real Red Card Stock

1pc - 1 5/8" x 1 5/8"

4pc - 1 5/8" x 2 5/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 1 1/2" x 1 1/2"

4pc - 1 1/2" x 2 1/2"

----------------------------------

Take the Thick Real Red Card Stock and using your Simply Scored, score the card stock as follows :-

Long Side - 1 3/4", 3 1/2", 5 1/4" & 7"

Short Side - 1 3/4", 4 1/2", 6 1/4"

Fold and burnish all your score lines well, then taking your snips cut away at your card stock.

Holding the card horizontally cut up all the score lines along the bottom and remove the rectangle on the lower right. Move to the top of the card stock and remove the two skinny sections on the right hand side - leaving a thin tab - notch in to each end slightly.

From the top cut down all the vertical score lines to the second horizontal. Remove the first, second and third skinny rectangles starting from the left. Notch into the first and third square, cutting off a small amount on its length.

On the second section and remove the square and the skinny rectangle completely - as this will create the front.

Finally Round the corners of the remaining skinny rectangle from the first row.

You should have a shape like this...

Ink up the the small images and cover the 4 basic white rectangles with a mix of the images using all three colours

Stamp the sentiment into the centre of the square piece of basic white and add some of the flower images onto opposite corners then a couple of leaves , just to break up that white background..

Add the stamped pieces to the Real Red card stock mats, then add the the thick basic white piece -  making sure the sentiment square is upside down as you look at it flat. When the box is built, this will form the lid.

Like this...

Place some Seal+ onto the thin tab on the right, then fold around to create the sides. Then fold in the sides, back and then adhere down the front pieces and the bottom to create your base. Fold over the lid, and tuck it behind the front panel to keep closed.
