Good Afternoon Everyone
Today I'm blog hopping with the Fabulous Touches of Ink ladies and you are sure to be spoilt by inspiration.
I chose to use the Lovely in Linen Suite for my card today. I absolutely Love this suite - everything about it is so nice!
My design is super simple and it's a great layout out to recreate over and over with different colours and sentiments.
Measurements
Sweet Sorbet Card Stock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"
1pc - scrap
Basic White Card Stock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
scraps
Lovely Linen DSP
1pc - 5 3/4" x 4"
Evening Evergreen Card Stock
1pc - scrap strip
----------------------------------------
Take the strip of Evening Evergreen and the tile stamp and stamp a line of this image, then fussy cut. Add this strip to the DSP about 1/2" away from the right hand side, trimming off any over hang.
Create a card base by folding the Sweet Sorbet Card Stock along the score line and add the DSP Panel to the front. Pop the Basic White piece to the inside.
Stamp the sentiment and label outline onto a scrap of basic white, making sure the sentiment is over to the right. Cut out with the Lovely Label Punch, and also a plain sweet sorbet label too. Adhere these together, having some of the sweet sorbet showing underneath.
Add the sentiment to the card front so that it;s just on the stamped strip.
Stamp a few of the larger flower images in Sweet Sorbet and Pale Papaya and then cut away a few of the open flowers. Arrange these around the left hand side of the sentiment using both liquid glue and dimensionals to get different heights.
Finally add a rhinestone into the centre of all of the flowers.
Like I said, simple quick and easy but a lovely card. Please continue through the hop by visiting Katja next.
