Moving Along Happy Birthday Card. Pootles Craft Forum Colour Challenge

 Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Tuesday Folks, Today I wanted to share a card I made for a colour challenge over on the Pootles Craft Forum. Sam Challenged us with alliteration and all the SU colours  with the initials CC. I thought this was particularly difficult and took a lot of thought to get all the colour together on one card and then have it look good too...

Here's the list of colours we had to use.  

Measurements

Cajun Craze Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

Playing with Patterns DSP

1pc - 2" x 5 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

scraps

Scraps of the following card stock:- Coastal Cabana, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake.

Create your card base by folding the Cajun Craze Card stock along the score line, add the basic white piece to the inside. Take the strip of DSP and adhere in the centre of the card front.

Bring out your Playful Alphabet Dies and you Cut & Emboss machine and cut out all the letters to spell Happy Birthday using scraps of all the colours above. Add these to the card front.

Finally stamp three of the car images in memento in onto a scrap of basic white. Colour in the cars using a Cherry Cobbler blend, fussy cut and then add to the strip of DSP on the card front.
