Cherished Friend Greeting Card. Stampin Birds Colour Challenge

 Good Morning Everyone,

Today I'm sharing a card I have made for the Stampin Birds Team Colour Challenge this week. The Colours we have to use are Gray Granite, Shaded Spruce and Melon Mambo - I really love this combo.

Measurements

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

Basic Black Card Stock

1pc - 4" x 5 3/4"

1pc - scrap

Create your card base by folding the largest piece if basic white along the score line and add the piece of basic black to the card front.

Take the scrap of basic black and run through your cut and emboss machine using the two largest circles, one inside the other to create a frame, like this..

Now, take the circle that has been cut above and using some low tack or removable adhesive, place in the centre of the card.

Ink up some of the stamps from Lovley You in Gray Granite, Shaded Spruce and Melon Mambo. Make sure you stamp over onto the die cut circle like so..

I used a white circle so you could see what I have done. Over lapping the images and stamp off to give a variant in shade. Fill out the edges so that when you remove the die cuts you can see a clearly defined circle.

Now very carefully adhere the basic black frame you create around the edge of the Stamping, it may take a little maneuvering but it should shit nicely in there.

Now stamp the sentiment in the centre and add this layer to the card front.

All done, it's a great way to get a different sort of look in your card and you can easily switch up the colours and sentiment for your recipient.

Here's a list of the supplies I used in today's cards. Click on the images to head over to my online store. Product List
