Love You Always Gift Bag with a Belly Band Closure. Ink Stamp Share Showcase February 2021

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in the Ink Stamp Share Showcase Blog Hop. Myself and a group of talented crafters will be showing you some projects we have been working on this week using Stampin Up products.

I've created a lovely little gift bag with a belly band closure using this stunning specialty DSP and Foil from the Love You Always Suite.

Measurements

Love You Always Speciality DSP
Crumb Cake
1pc - 11 3/4" x 6 1/4"
Blushing Bride
1pc - scrap

Love You Always Foil Sheets
Blushing Bride
1" x 11 3/4"

Take your DSP and score as follow:-
Long - Full Score at 1 1/4", 5 3/4", 7" and 11 1/2"
Long - Part Score at 5/8" and 6 3/8" down to approx 4"
Short - Full Score at 5"
Fold and burnish all the full score lines well.

Cut up all the score lines along to bottom and then notch into the squares slightly. Remove the thin skinny rectangle in the bottom right.

Add tear and tape to the thin tap on the right and then adhere to the opposite side. Fold in the sides and back, then adhere the front down to create your base.

Hold the top of the bag and gently close, the part score lines you added earlier will help the finish look neat.

Wrap around the length of foil and adhere it to itself in the centre at the front, trim off any excess. This creates a nice belly bag closure.

Cut out the largest circle from the Stitched shapes dies in the blushing Bride DSP and add to the belly band covering the join.

You could add a sentiment to it, but I just want to show as much of this pretty paper as I possibly could.

I hope you enjoyed the project and will give it a go yourself - You could create all sorts of different looks by switching up the DSP.
