Back to Back Blooms Happy Birthday Joy Fold Card. Share it on a Sunday

 Good Morning Everyone,

It's Share it on a Sunday and this week we are all creating a Floral Fun Fold Card as challenged by Donna. I loved creating this challenge and went to my most favourite fun fold - the Joy Fold card.  I decided to stamp my own 'DSP' rather than use an already printed one.

The Back to Back Blooms stamp set is so beautiful, fabulous detailed flowers and foliage, but this is special. You get one stamp which does both the outline and solid image. How you may ask? This stamp set is reversible. So on one side of the stamp you have the outline images, then flip it over and use that side to fill in as a solid image!! Genuis.

Measurements

Just Jade Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 8 7/8", scored at 3"

1pc - 3" x 7 1/2", scored at 3 3/4"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 2 5/8" x 3 7/8"

2pc - 3 1/2" x 2 3/4"

Take the two pieces of Just Jade card stock  and fold along the score line.

Put one of the 3 1/2" x 2 3/4" pieces of basic white to one side.

On the remaining piece of basic white, stamp the flower outline and the leaf outlines in memento ink, covering all of the panels. Now flip that stamp over so that you you can stamp a solid image, use Magenta madness ink and fill in the outlines of the flowers and just jade ink for the leaves.

Take the largest piece of just jade card stock and place it in front of you with the flod to the left. Add the largest stamped panel to the inside, and the second largest to the smaller card front flap you created.

Bring in the smaller piece of just jade and hold that so the fold is on the right. Add the last of the  stamped panels to the front and the plain piece of basic white to the inside. Add this to the centre of the large stamped piece on the inside of the card. Then fold in the small front Flap, then close to last Flap over that.

Stamp the sentiment from Oval Occasions on a scrap of basic white and cut out using the double oval punch, also cut a scallop oval from Bumblebee card stock. Layer these together and add the the card front.

Finally tie a bow with the Bumblebee ribbon and add below the sentiment.
