Floral Essence Beautiful Days Greeting Card. Pootles Craft Forum Colour Challenge

Good Morning Everyone,

Today I have a card to share with you that was made from a colour challenge over on the Pootles Craft Forum.  We were given Cinnamon Cider, Coastal Cabana and Cherry Cobbler. Now I have to study these colours and my stamp collection and after a lot of thought I came up with this.

Measurements

Cinnamon Cider Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Coastal Cabana Card Stock

1pc - 5 1/2" x 3 3 /4"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 5 1/8" x 3 3/8"

Fold the Cinnamon Cider Card Stock along the score line and add the larger piece of basic white to the inside.

Add the Coastal Cabana Card Stock to the card front.

On the scrap of basic white card stock stamp out 6 of the flower images from Floral Essence in Memento ink. Once the ink has dried colour in the petal and centres with Cherry Cobbler Blends.  Now cut out, you can either do this with the coordinating punch, or fussy cut as I did - I wanted to have the black edge to my flower, not a white border after that.

Layer two shapes on top of each other, offsetting them to get a full flower. roughly figure out white you will place these on basic white, then stamp the sentiment in place using memento ink. add this panel to the card front, and then dot around your 3D flowers. Place the largest of the Rhinestone jewels into the centre of each flower, then add a circle of the smallest ones all around it to fill the centre.
