Basket of Blooms Thank You Card. International Project Highlights February 2021

 Good Evening Everyone,

Today I am taking part in Kylie's International Blog Hop. Each month papercrafters from all over the world join together and add projects to a gallery all with the Thank You Theme. then people get a chance to vote. The top ten then get to take part in a special blog hop.

Here's the card I made, using the Thank You sentiment from Ornate Thanks to create a background for my bright Basket of Blooms.

I would love it if you would take just a couple of minutes to head over and place a vote for me, I would be thrilled to be able to join in with this Month's Winners Hop.

Measurements

Gray Granite Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

1pc - scrap for the basket

Basic White Card Stock

2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Magenta Madness Card Stock

Scraps for the Flowers

Just Jade Card Stock

Scraps for the Leaves

Take the Gray Granite card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Then add one of the Basic White pieces to the inside.

On the remaining Basic White Card Stock stamp the thank you sentiment in Gray Granite ink all the way down the panel. Add this to the card front.

Take the small and slightly larger blooms from the Basket of Blooms Stamp Set and stamp in Magenta Madness ink onto scraps of the same colour card. Fussy cut the smaller blooms and cut out the larger ones with the small bloom punch. Stamp a selection of the leaves in Just Jade onto scraps of Just Jade cardstock and fussy cut as well.

Create the basket by stamping it in Basic Gray ink onto a scrap of Gray Granite card stcok and fussy cut out. Add this basket to the centre of the card front with dimensionals, just a couple at the bottom of the basket. Now take to flowers and leaves and 'fill' up the basket. I used a combination of liquid glue a glue dots to adhere mine down - overlapping in some places to create a fuller looking basket.

Finally add Pearls to the centres of all the flowers.

Here's a list of the supplies I used in today's cards. Click on the images to head over to my online store. Product List
