Heartwarming Hugs Gift Wrapped 2" Cube Lidded Gift Box. Share it on a Sunday

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you have had a Great weekend so far. So, as it's Sunday we have another fabulous Share it on a Sunday project for you.

This week we are showing a sneak peek of what's coming in our new Mini Catalogue. As Demonstrators, we get to preorder before the catalogue goes live, you guys can order from the 4th August. These projects will give you a glimpse of a few products coming out.

Measurements

Mossy Meadow Cardstock
1pc - 6x6"

Heartwarming Hugs DSP
1pc - 4x4"

Real Red cardstock
1pc - 1" x 11
First take the mossy meadow cardstockand score at 2" on all four sides. Create tabs by cutting into the corner squares. Hold the cardstock. Cut up the right hand score line, notch into both sides of this and the snip some of the length. Rotate cardstock 90degrees and repeat the cutting process, do this for all the four corners so you are left with your card looking like this.

Add tear and tape to all the flaps and adhere all the sides together to create the box base.

Now, take the DSP and score at 1" on all four sides. Cut the DSP to free the squares and notch notch in slightly. So it looks like this.

Add tear and tape to the tabs and fold in to create your lid.


On a scrap, stamp the now in real red ink and cut out using the coordinating punch. Take your wink of stella and add to the thin sections around the edge of the ribbon. If you lightly touch the real red you can 'pull' it into your colouring. Which makes the wink of stella slightly pinky.  Leave to dry.

Take the 1" strip of real red cardstock and wrap it around the box, gently creating a crease aroubd the edges. Glue the strip ends together on the top and add the bow over the join.
