Good Morning Everyone,
It's Saturday, and It's a special Team Scrimpy Blog Hop Saturday. That's right, we have a great selection of projects to share with you that are all based around Encouragement & Support.
I chose this sentiment from Rustic Retreat as I just think it's a lovely passage and can be a great source of encouragement and belief
So, I'm going to run through my project with you and then, there will be links to the rest of the teams projects, so be sure to click on and check those out too.
Measurements
Basic black cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored 5 7/8"
Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
Scraps for the Oval and Daisy
Ornate Garden DSP
1pc - 3 5/8 x 5 3/4"
Scrap of Terracotta Tile Cardstock for the Oval
Create your card base by folding the basic black cardstock along the score line and add the whisper white panel to the inside.
Take the DSP and place in the trimmer and cut off a 1" strip either side, making sure you remember which side is from where, them glue these onto the card front. Pay attention to the patterns and make sure it follows on through the panels otherwise it may look odd.
Cut two the two ovals from the stitched shapes dies - the largest one in terracotta tile and then next one down in whisper white, in your die cutting machine. Stamp the sentiment onto the whisper white oval, layer these two up and place on the card front towards the top right hand side.
Using some more scrap whisper white, punch out two daisy shapes. Stamp the flower centre in Mango melody ink and adhere these together with the stamped one on top. Make sure you offset them evenly to get a fuller flower. Add this to thecard front towards the lower left.
