I hope you are well today. As it's Sunday we have another project share for you. This week Donna chose the theme Scrap
Busting. Let's face it, we are a guilty of having that pile of scraps sat on our desk. That we just need to thin out - well hopefully between these three projects we will be able to inspire you.
As Always I will go through my project, then link to Donna and Karen's blogs so you can check those ideas out too.
I chose to use a 1" circle punch and a alot of coloured cardstock.
Measurements
BlackBerry Bliss Cardstock
1pc - 11 3/4" x 4 1 /8" scored at 5 7/8"
1pc - scrap for the sentiment
Whisper White Cardstock
2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - scrap for the sentiment
So first of all punch out a load of 1" circles from all your scraps, I used all the colours of the SU rainbow, but you could easily change it to stick to a variety of shades of one colour or just pick the colours you like.
Now, add these to one of the pieces of whisper white, carefully lining them all up so the butt up to each other. I found it easier to lightly mark the centre point of the card and work out, making sure I kept each row straight. Once the panel is covered trim the edges so that the circles overthe edge sit flush with the whisper white below
Create a cardbaseby folding the BlackBerry Bliss Cardstock along the score line and add the circles panel to the front and the remaining piece of whisper white to the inside.
Finally stamp the sentiment from Rustic Retreat onto a scrap of whisper white in memento ink. Once the ink is dry colour in the outline sections with a selection of blends. Layer this piece onto a scrap of BlackBerry Bliss abd add to the card with dimensionals.
Here's a list of the supplies I used in today's card, click on the images to head over to my online store
