Magnolia Lane Memories and More Thank You Card

Good Evening Everybody,

I hope you are all well, as well as can be expected. Today we haven't done a great deal, just played and done a bit of housework, which seems to be the new norm, doesn't it.  We will all go out later for a walk to get some fresh air and stretch our legs.

So, for today's card I wanted to show you the wonderful Memories and More Cards that are available. The set I have used is from the Magnolia Lane Suite and ties in perfectly with the products from that aling with the Garden Lane Suite. But I have chosen to use all elements from the pack. You don't always need a million supplies, and these are fabulous for a beginner crafter as you have everything you need to create cards (except adhesive and card bases).

Take a piece of whisper white that measures 4 1/8" x 11 3/4" and score at 5 7/8", fold along the score line and burnish well.

Next choose a 6x4" larger card from the pack and trim  down to 3 7/8" x 5 5/8". The design I chose had a panel in the  centre, so I carefully trimmed all four sides evenly to ensure the panel stayed in the centre. As below...

Now, I didn't  want to use this sentiment, ao I used one of the smaller 3" x 4" cards and added it to the centre, over the original panel.

Using some of the self adhesive elements, add some interest around the panel and sentiment.

Add wink of stella to the added eleme ts for a little sparkle.

I told you that It was super simple didn't I, these Memories and More Cards really do have it all ready for you to create some amazing cards in a flash.

Free as a Bird Vintage Inspired Monochrome Birthday Card. Share it on a Sunday #8

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you are well. Did you remember to move your clocks forward?? We don't have to because all our clocks do it automatically, which always confuses me first thing! Haha.

Today it's Sunday, so that means another installment of the Share it on a Sunday Series. This week Donna picked the theme Monochrome, and after a little bit of debating I managed it.

As always, I will give you the tutorial for my project, then link to Taffy Crafting and Crafty Karen Designs so you can see what they both made for this theme.

So here is the card I made. I decided us Brown and Cream for my Monotone look.

Measurements

Very Vanilla Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
1pc - for the die cut
Some scraps for the flowers and leaves plus sentiment

Early Espresso Cardstock
1pc - 3 1/4" x 5 7/8"

Crumb Cake Cardstock
1pc - 2 1/4" x 5 7/8"

First of all take the large very vanilla piece and fold along the score line, then sponge the edges with early espresso ink.

Take the early espresso cardstock and rip down tbe length on each side and add to the right hand side of the card. Repeat this with the crumb cake and layer this on top.

Now stamp the birds on the branch onto some very vanilla and cut out using the appropriate size nested shape die. Colour the image in using the same blends. Add this to the card front to overlap the ripped panels.

Stamp the happy birthday sentiment  and cit out, sponge edges lightly and add to the die cut under the birds.

Now on the scraps, stamp a hand full of leaves and large and small flowers with tbe early espresso ink. Colour these in using soft suede and crumb cake blends. Fussy cut all these out and add to the card towards the top left

Here's a list of all the supplies I used in today's card, click on the images to head over to my online store.

Dashing Deer Handmade Merry Christmas Card

Good Evening Everybody,

I hope you well. I have a cheeky second project for you today. And yes, I know it's only March and It's a Christmas Card!! (Pause for gasps!! Hahaha).

I am a member of a facebook group called The Perpetual Christmas Card Club . It's  a group in which the focus is Christmas Cards throughout the year. Each week there is a theme to help you get inspired, but you can share any Christmas Cards you make. The idea behind it is to get ahead and do one card a week, then when you get to Christmas, you have about 50 cards already made, taking away that last minute slog!!

This is for last week's theme was Blue & White and this is what I came up with....

Measurements

Pre Cut and scored card, approx 5" x 7"

DSP - 6" x 4" - I used a piece of Neutrals DSP pack stack (Retired)

Whisper White Cardstock
Scraps for snow, sentiment and deer.

Take your card base and sponge the edges with Blueberry Bushel ink. Then add the DSP panel to the centre of the card front.

Cut two strips of whisper white to 4" long, then with your snips, cut a wavy line on each to replicate a snow drift. Run your balmy blue blend lightly around the edges, then adhere these so they overlap onto the bottom of the DSP.

Stamp a large and small deer in blueberry bushel ink and fussy cut. Then add these onto the snow using dimensionals.

Finally stamp the sentiment in blueberry bushel ink, sponge the edges and add to the card front.

Here's a list of all the Stampin Up supplies I used in today's card, click on the images to head over to my Stampin Up online store.

Take the smaller piece of whisper white and stamp the heart image into the centre using memento black ink. Once dry colour in using the Pear Pizzazz and Poppy Parade Stampin write markers. Layer this onto the Early Espresso Cardstock.
