It's Your Birthday Greetings Card. Share It on a Sunday #1

Good Morning  Everyone,

Happy Sunday! Today is very exciting, it marks a new feature we are bringing you on a Sunday. My two crafting companions CraftyKarenDesigns & Taffy Crafting and myself are joining forces for a Share It on a Sunday Series!

Every Sunday we will showcase three projects created using the same Challenge. I will do a tutorial on my card, then leave a link to both Karen and Donna's projects for you to go and take a look at.

This week we are all working from this Tic Tac Toe board.

Basically, you choose three elements to use in your project following a line, just like playing Tic Tac Toe or here in the UK - Noughts and Crosses. I chose Masculine, Blue & Dry Embossing and here it is...

Measuresments

Early Espresso Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 3" x 3 1/2"

Balmy Blue Cardstock
1pc - 3 1/4" x 3 3/4"

Country Club Designer Series Paper
1pc - 2" x 5 1/2".

Take your Early Espresso Cardstock and fold gently on the score line, then place one side into the Basket Weave embossing folder. Try and get it as close to the score line as you can without going over it and run it through your die cutting machine. Add the large piece of whisper white to the inside.

On the remaining piece of whisper white, stamp the bunting from Above the Clouds along the top and a row of candles from I say Hello along the bottom. Stamp bith in memento ink, once dry colour in using Balmy Blue, Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight blends. Take the sentiments from Itty Bitty Birthdays and stamp in the centre of this piece in Blueberry Bushel ink.

Now to assemble - add the Balmy Blue panel to the centre of the basket weave card front, then take the DSP strip and cur banner tails to either side using a point from the tailored tag punch. Layer this onto the balmy blue. Finally add the stamped panel, making sure it lays centrally on the balmy blue cardstock.

I love how this turned out, and thanks to the Tic Tac Toe board, it's a card I may not have designed off my own back.

Now, are you ready to see two other amazing projects made with the same board? If, so make sure you pop along to see.....
